SUNTRUST Salutes the best Sales Performers of 2009

A brilliant mix of sounds, lights and dance filled Suntrust Properties, Inc.’s 2009 Annual Awards and 2010 Sales Kick-Off Ceremony which was recently held at the Philippine Navy Golf Club in Fort Bonifacio, Taguig City.  The company’s officers, head office personnel and Suntrustees donned their Chinese-inspired gowns and suits to salute the best sales performers of fiscal year 2009 and to greet the Year of the Metal Tiger with a loud roar.

The event started off with a thanksgiving mass celebrated by Rev. Fr. Elmer Basas of St. Michael the Archangel Church of Taguig. This solemn ceremony was then followed by a grand Dragon Dance, to signify the continued perseverance of the Suntrustees and the fruits of prosperity borne of their hard work.

Senior Vice President for Finance Deanna Jean Claveria warmly welcomed Suntrustees, VIPs and guests, and shared her insights on the qualities that a true “Suntrustee Tiger” should possess. These characteristics were aptly summarized in the term ADDICT – Adventurous, Dynamic, Dedicated, Initiating, Courageous/ Competitive, and best of all, Tireless.

The always energetic AVP for Marketing & Training Jerry Rubis led the participants in the grand unveiling ceremony of the 2010 sales target and the official salute to Suntrustees, which was made even more spectacular by a fireworks display. Mr. Rubis also heightened the excitement among the sales force with his presentation of the 2010 Suntrustees Rewards Plus and the improved Suntrustees Cash Incentives (SCIP) `10.

Suntrust President Atty. Harrison M. Paltongan continued to fire up the group with his inspirational message and by posing a new challenge for the Suntrustees in the year 2010.

Highlighting the night's program was the recognition of Icebreakers, Monthly, Quarterly and Training Awardees.  This was subsequently followed by the recognition of Annual Awardees for the Laguna, Cavite and Manila sectors. 

2009’s top sales performers are duly recognized in the Awards Night. Photo above shows the Elite Awardees proudly showing the claim certificates for their customized SPI gold rings. 

Leading the roster of annual top performers Branch Sales Manager category were Mi Ramirez (Cypress Branch) for the Cavite Sector; Rex Magboo (Pearl Branch) for the Laguna sector; and Arlene Famularcano (Antioch Branch) for Manila sector.

Also recognized were 15 other top performers who received the much-coveted Elite Awards.  This award is conferred to accredited and active Suntrustees who achieved the qualifying gross commission and Performance-Based Allowance (PBA) based on the generated sales for the whole fiscal year.  The winners received customized gold rings with embossed Suntrust logo. 

The announcement of the year’s winner of a brand new Mitsubishi Adventure was the much-awaited part of the awarding proper. The said prize is the outcome of the company’s first ever Tripping Vehicle Award Promo, and was finally conferred to Rex Magboo, BSM of Pearl Branch, who posted the highest converted sales for FY 2009.  A formal turnover of the car keys and ceremonial signing of the memorandum of agreement capped the evening’s memorable affair.
