Suntrust Closes the Year with a Groovy Celebration

To celebrate and honor these everyday efforts, Suntrust came together for a night of gratitude, appreciation, and togetherness. Titled Groove and Shine, the 1970s-inspired celebration at The Enderun Tent in Taguig on December 18, 2025 reflected the vibrant spirit of Suntrust’s dedicated team.

As the sparkle of the 1970s lit up the present, generations within the Suntrust family came together to connect, let loose, and shine as one, making the celebration a truly vibrant and feel-good experience for all.

Dancing into the Night

The Enderun Tent was transformed into a disco haven for the night, setting the tone for a vibrant and unforgettable celebration. The event was filled with fun and engaging activities, including lively dance performances by Suntrust employees that showcased not only talent, but also camaraderie and team spirit.

“Happiness in the workplace always starts with us,” said Atty. Basilio C. Almazan, Jr., Senior Vice President of Suntrust Properties. “Suntrust continuously strives to provide the best workplace experience as our way of thanking everyone for their dedication and hard work.”

Throughout the venue, smiles and laughter were shared in every corner, reflecting the strong sense of unity among members of the Suntrust family.

“Every year, we are blessed in many ways, and it’s important that we share these blessings with those around us,” he added. “Being part of Suntrust means embracing the spirit of sharing. Through this virtue, growth comes naturally—while being surrounded by a supportive and inspiring community.”

A Tribute to Those Who Shaped the Company

This year, Suntrust elevated its year-end celebration by honoring not only its Loyalty Awardee employees, but also its 2025 retirees whose dedication and service have played a vital role in shaping the company’s journey. The tribute served as a heartfelt expression of gratitude for the years of commitment, passion, and hard work that helped build Suntrust into what it is today.

“Entering Suntrust feels like coming home to your family and friends,” said Arch. Jehiel Capuli, a 25-Year Loyalty Awardee of Suntrust. “The sense of belonging I felt from the very beginning helped me love my job, and that passion allowed me to grow alongside the company. Over the years, I witnessed Suntrust grow, and I am proud to have been part of that journey.”

A Renewed Spirit for the New Year

While the year brought an abundance of blessings, it also came with its share of challenges. Still, Suntrust stands strong. Suntrustees showed their perseverance by never giving up and rising despite the setbacks. “Miracles are only possible through belief and hard work,” said Suntrust President Atty. Harrison M. Paltongan. “Just like any company, Suntrust has its own set of imperfections. Despite that, we always strove to be better and improve.”

“The challenge now is how to be a part of the groove of the dance floor to prepare ourselves for the incoming year,” he added.
